Join Ruth in one of her workshop locations either in her studio in Witley, Birtley Woodland Arts Space.

Ruth with demonstrate her techniques and talk through her work and you can get inspiration from her pieces or you can bring your own designs and ideas with you to trace onto the wood.
You will have your own machine for the day and you can choose from a selection of sanded solid local Surrey Wooden planks and other small shapes such as coasters , decorations or key rings.
You take home at least one small piece of art and a few small pieces in half a day (3 hours) and a bigger piece or two small pieces of art in a whole day (5 hours)
The half day option is perfect for your first introduction to pyro, stay for a whole day and work on a bigger project or carry on experimenting.
Or if you have been before bring your own project with you or explore paint and other finishes or more complex designs.
This is perfect for beginners as well as artists or creatives. It is for any age and ability !
The creative process and learning a new skill is more important than the outcome.
Most of all I want you to have fun and Relax !
