Join Ruth for a 1 day course in wood relief carving, you may also use able to use the pyrography machines to burn in details and use paint's if you so wish.
Ruth with demonstrate her techniques and talk through her work and you can get inspiration from her pieces or you can bring your own designs and ideas with you to trace onto the wood.
You will have your own mallet and use of chisels for the day and you can choose from a selection of sanded solid local Surrey Wooden planks.
In one day you will should achieve a 2d Relief Carving, you will be able to choose a bigger piece of wood or carve on more detail if you book onto Carve and Create Club.
You also have the option to use the pyrography machine and add texture , paint and collage to your work.
You can create whatever image you like and the wooden plank is included in the price.
GO LARGE - Extra big or thick wood will be available for an extra size.
No half day options available for wood carving.

Please bring your own gloves, goggles, hard shoes and dust mask and any carving chisels that you might have.
