1 hour basic introduction and demo to the art of Pyrography with pyrographer and artist Ruth Wheeler.
You will learn the basics about starting this craft from which machines to buy, which wood to use as well as different options f transferring a design onto your work.
You will get to watch a demo by Ruth and then you will get your own machine to use with a fine wire tip. You will choose from a variety of small blank pieces of wood in shapes such as book marks,keyring, pendants, log slices or a coaster.
I do have larger pieces of wood as well as spoons, mugs, candle holders and earrings to make at a little extra cost, which you can choose and decide when you arrive.
If you want a short taster then please book one hour but if you would like to get more time to completes a more complex piece or larger blank then book more hours.
My regular intro class is normally 5- 6 hours long in my studio and people normally complete 3 small pieces in the morning and a medium to large piece of art work, or they might like to add paint to it it. So please buy more hours.
