Join Ruth in her new community arts studio in Guildford.
Earth studio is a dedicated arts crafts and sculpture studio with all the facilities needed. It is light and airy and part of a creative community.
Sometimes it might be held in my Garden sanctuary studio - Witley, Surrey. Indoors for up to 6 people plus we can sit out on the decking if nice.
Earth studio - westfield Road, Slyfield, Guildford, Surrey.

The day :
Arrival and sign in
Ruth with demonstrate her techniques and talk through her work and you can get inspiration from her pieces or you can bring your own designs and ideas with you to trace onto the wood.
You will have your own machine for the day and you can choose from a selection of sanded solid local Surrey Wooden planks and other small shapes such as coasters , decorations or key rings.
You take home at least one small piece of art and a few small pieces in half a day (3 hours) and a bigger piece or two small pieces of art in a whole day (5 hours)
The half day option is perfect for your first introduction to pyro, stay for a whole day and work on a bigger project or carry on experimenting.
Or if you have been before bring your own project with you or explore paint and other finishes or more complex designs.
This is perfect for beginners as well as artists or creatives. It is for any age and ability !
The creative process and learning a new skill is more important than the outcome.
Most of all I want you to have fun and Relax !

If you would like to book a private small group of up to 12 then please contact me for a different price and other dates.
Extra Wood will be for sale, so if you want to purchase a larger piece for your project you can.
Master Class Dates are now available and are on the Sunday after the Saturday.
You can book the two workshopd together and need a weekend of it or book just one day.
Saturday is perfect for beginners as well as those wanting more practise or ( master class) who want a day to burn and then have an extra day to paint and finish a larger piece on the Sunday.
