Summer Art Camps are run by Ruth and her team. These days are suitable for children year 4 and upwards to year 9 ( sensible year 3's) 10 - 3.30 pm. The workshop includes all materials, squash and biscuits. The Workshops take place in earth.studios.workshops a new dedicated art teaching studio at Lockwood Studios, Westfield Road, Slyfield, Guildford.
Each day focuses on a main project such as pyrography, clay, mosaics, wet felting, wire sculptures, drawing and painting, paper mache and cardboard constructed sculptures, woodcarving and printing, willow and soap stone carving and smaller crafting projects.
If your creative child has a particular idea then we can give them the freedom to work on a bigger project of their choice over a few days.
( book more days) As well as the larger projects we wil have other smaller creative projects that can be done if time (glass painting on tiles or perspex, sketching, printing, wool and wood weaving etc)
If you have a young person who is older than year 9, then they are welcome to join us too or if I have enough interest I can set up a young creatives day or regular classes throughout the summer and term time.
